Our Commitment to Privacy

Icon Factory is built with privacy by design. We do not require accounts, we do not track users, and we do not store your images on our servers beyond the moment needed to process them.

Information We Collect

We collect zero personal information. Icon Factory operates without user accounts, without cookies (beyond what is technically required), and without any form of user tracking or analytics.

When you use the AI image generation feature, your text prompt is sent to our AI provider (Alibaba Cloud DashScope) solely for the purpose of generating an image. The prompt is not stored or used for any other purpose.

Image Handling

Images you upload or generate are processed transiently in server memory. Once the resized icons are packaged into a ZIP file and delivered to you, all image data is immediately discarded. We do not store, review, or share your images.

The icon cropping step happens entirely in your browser using Canvas API. The original image never leaves your device during cropping.

Third-Party Services

AI Image Generation: Text prompts are transmitted to Alibaba Cloud DashScope API for image generation. Their privacy policy applies to that data in transit.

Advertising: We display advertisements through Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve personalized ads. You can manage your ad preferences at Google Ad Settings.

Rate Limiting

To prevent abuse, we temporarily track request counts per IP address for rate limiting purposes. This data is held in server memory and is automatically cleared every hour. IP addresses are never logged to disk or shared.

Children's Privacy

Icon Factory is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
