We generate every required PNG size for iOS (20px through 1024px App Store), Android (mdpi through xxxhdpi plus Play Store 512px), and HarmonyOS (mdpi through xxxhdpi plus App Gallery). That is 27 sizes across 3 platforms, deduplicated into 18 unique dimensions.
Is Icon Factory free to use?+
Yes. Icon Factory is free for personal and commercial use. We support the tool through non-intrusive ads. No account required — just describe your icon, generate, and download.
What platforms are supported?+
iOS (iPhone, iPad, App Store), Android (all density buckets, Play Store), and HarmonyOS (Huawei App Gallery). Each platform gets its own folder in the download ZIP.
Can I upload my own image instead of using AI?+
Absolutely. Switch to Upload mode, drop in your PNG/JPG/WebP image, crop to a square if needed, and we will generate all required sizes from your source image.
What AI model generates the icons?+
We use the Wanx image generation model (Tongyi Wanxiang) for creating clean, professional app icons from text descriptions. The model is optimized for icon-style graphics.
Are there usage limits?+
To ensure fair use for everyone, we limit AI generations to 5 per hour and exports to 15 per hour per user. There are no daily limits.
Can I use the generated icons commercially?+
Yes. Icons generated through our tool are yours to use in any project — personal or commercial. No attribution required.
